Hi Itanium members,

It's been some time since the website got updated. Sorry for the delay.

So there have been not much activities for June due to the mid term exam that took us quite a long time. We have our meeting last week as usual. Attendance were medicore, more than half of the members didn't attend.

We had a short meeting about the IT Week Finale which is the career talk that will take place in the lecture hall aka dewan kuliah on the 18th of JULY 2009. Planning is in the progress and there're much more left to discusss.

Lastly, there will be a meeting at the computer lab this Friday as usual. Attendance is COMPULSARY as we will have more important agenda to follow.

Club exam is coming soon. Prepare yourself.

Well, 6 weeks has passed since our last meeting. And I've to say, celebrities need to stop dying dammit. First, Ed Mcmahon, then Farah Fawcett, then Michael Jackson, and finally Billy Mays. In a period of 2 weeks no less. May they rest in peace. Anyways, today, we've made a final decision to have the grand finale of IT Week '09 to be held on 18 JULY 2009 . I wish to remind everyone that it is compulsory for ALL MEMBERS to show up on that particular day at the LECTURE THEATURE (Dewan Kuliah) by 7.30AM. The event will be over at approximately 1.00 PM . Also, our Annual General Meeting will be held on the 24th of July, remember to get your ass there and vote. (though your vote may not be counted seeing as the poll is rigged). And finally, the 2nd PC Fair 2009 event will be held sometime on the first week of August, it is entirely optional, but we hope that you guys will join in the fun. The more the merrier they say, eh? It's 2 weeks past IT Week, I know, a little too late, but I'll post about it anyway.

I don't think I'm going to blabber on with everything that happened. It's gonna be boring, so I shall make this short.

Most of what that has been carried out are as planned. We got a great sketch (the guys are probably too lazy to post the video up, but will do, just be patient), a great notice board (haha!), the booth, OC demo and all, you know it.

We've got good responses from the student body as well as teachers on our hardware sales, and also a number of enquiries at our genius bar. The photoshop contest received quite an amount of entries too.

Howeverm out of human error, the same problem happened to us---- pickpockets. It's a problem I think should be given more attention on our coming projects. To the juniors, put security as a priority if you guys are ever gonna work on any projects like these, if not, the one losing will still be you no matter how successful the event goes on.
